On Wednesday, Joint Secretary of Finance Ministry, Madhu Kumar Marasini, Country Director of The Asian Development Bank (ADB, Nepal Resident Mission, Kenichi Yokoyama, signed the agreement on behalf of the Government of Nepal and ADB respectively at a program organised at the Finance Ministry.
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has agreed to provide a loan assistance of Rs. 7.57 billion (USD 80 million) to the Government of Nepal for the implementation of the Kathmandu Valley Waste Water Management Project.
Ministry of Urban Development is the executing agency while, KUKL, Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Management Board are implementing agencies of the project.
