Appeal for Rs 100m Charitable Endowment Fund

HLPC agrees to squaring the circle on round table
The High Level Political Committee comprising five forces – UCPN-Maoist, Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, United Democratic Madhesi Front and Federal Democratic Front-Nepal – today agreed, in principle, to hold a round table conference to bring the agitating forces, including 33-party alliance led by CPN-Maoist and Federal Socialist Party, on board the election process.

Manang Marshyangdi club have crushed Nepal Army 4-1, on Saturday which was held at the Dasarath Stadium in Kathmandu with the winners' cheque of Rs. 1 million.
Manang Marshyangdi team's Sulav Maskey completed his hat-trick. Manang, which had suffered a 1-0 deat at the hands of the army side dueing the group stage, scored two of their four goals in the first half.
Nepal Army have won a purse of Rs 0.5 million.

The Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE) on Tuesday published the results of School Leaving Certificate (SLC) exams for the academic session of 2069 BS.
This time 41.57 percent students passed this year´s SLC examinations.
You can check result on the websites: www.moe.gov.np, www.doe.gov.np and www.slc.ntc.np.
Now http://www.ekantipur.com/en/ has also gaven facility to check SLC result form their home page.
Similarly, the results can also be accessed via SMS on mobile phones by typing slc <space> the symbol number and sending it to 5225.

SLC - third week of JUNE
The Office of Controller of Examinations (OCE) has said it will publish the results of this year’s School Leaving Certificate (SLC) results by the 3rd week of this month.
This year, a total of 547,165 students had sat for the 79th edition of the SLC exams in 58 different subjects held in March 14-22 earlier this year. The answer-sheets were check in 60 centers.
