An international conference on Islam religion concluded in the Nepalese capital city on Sunday.
The conference organized by the Islamic Centre, Kathmandu had the participation of some 700 participants from Nepal, India, Saudi Arab, Qatar, Bahrain and others.
It was organized to promote the religious preaching.
Minister for Urban Development, Dr Narayan Khadka, had wished for the success of the conference and expressed his belief that it would be helpful to establish the Islam religion as the religion of peace and co-existence.
UCPN-Maoist leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara and NC leader Hamid Siddiqi said the existing Muslim Commission needs to be developed as a constitutional commission.
