A charge-sheet seeking life imprisonment with confiscation of entire property has been filed against the accused involved in the murder of Krishna Prasad Adhikari of Fujel- 7, Gorkha at the Chitwan district court.
Nineteen-year-old Krishna was reportedly abducted from Bakulahar Chowk of Ratnanagar Municipality in Chitwan in June 2004 by the former Maoist rebels and subsequently killed.
Chitwan district attorney office filed the charge-sheet , here at the district court, seeking life imprisonment for the 13 accused in the murder of Krishna Prasad.
Government attorney Ek Narayan Lamsal informed that charge-sheet was filed against Januka Poudel and Rudra Acharya besides 11 other accused who were earlier pinpointed by the victim's family.
"A charge-sheet has been filed seeking life imprisonment according to the existing law against attempted murder," said Lamsal, "Those under custody have also been charge-sheet ed."
Hearing on the case will begin from Tuesday once statements are taken from the accused. The hearing could not take place on Sunday.
Superintendent of Police Pradhyumna Karki informed that two of the accused, Chabi Lal Poudel and Bhimsen Poudel, are under police custody. The police had on Wednesday submitted the case-related documents to the government attorney.
