The government has decided to relocate the Central Jail in capital Kathmandu to Bidur Municipality of Nuwakot district.
A Cabinet meeting held at the PMO, Singha Durbar Thursday took a decision to this effect.
The meeting also decided to provide Rs 30 million to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu for infrastructural upgradation.
Similarly, the government has approved a loan amount of Rs 2.43 billion for Melamchi Drinking Water Project and has given the International Financial Corporation (IFC) green light to establish a fund to make investments in Nepal.
