US-based computer technology giant Dell on Thursday organised the Kathmandu leg of the “ Dell Solutions Tour 2014”.
The event, which aims to bring together IT professionals to address the key issues and help users transform with them, was attended by hundreds of participants from corporate houses across the country along with the partners of Dell in Nepal.
Speaking at the event Saadat Ali, country manager, Dell - Rest of Asia Pacific, said the purpose of the event was to deliver technology solution that enables people everywhere to grow, thrive and reach their full potential. “This is a regional initiative where local partners, corporate and the consumers can make best use of the experts in knowing several issues,” Ali said, adding Nepal is among the priority markets for Dell and that it was the main reason behind bringing the event to Kathmandu.
Highlighting the event’s purpose, Ali said Dell has achieved success by keeping the need and requirement of customers in mind, and through such events, it wants to come closer to the customers. Discussions on nine different topics were facilitated by the Dell experts in the event.
To cater to the demand and needs of customers from every walk of life, Dell has been marketing its products through commercial partners, commercial SNS partners, consumer partners and managed financial tier and non-managed financial tear partners.
Several companies under each of these typologies have been appointed by the company in Nepal.
