The Bir Ganeshman Singh International Gold Cup football tournament is to begin here from coming April 20.
A total of 14 teams including two from India, one each from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Pakistan and European Union and six from Nepal are taking part in the tournament.
Manang Marsyangdi Club, Nepal Police Club, Three Star Club, Machchindra Club, Friends Clubs and Jawalakhel Youth Club are the Nepali teams competing in the event.
The first team will bag a cash prize of Rs. 500,000 and the runners-up will walk away with Rs. 250,000.
The tournament is expected to cost around Rs. 8 million.
