Krishna Pahadi , a rights defender and civil society leader, who is staging fast-unto-death demanding ratification of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, has been admitted at the Bir Hospital on Friday.
Pahadi had resorted to hunger strike at Shanti Batika in Ratnapark from Monday to exert pressure on his demands.
He was taken to Hospital today after his health condition further deteriorated.
Pahadi has been arguing that ratification of Rome Statute was one of the agendas of second people's movement in 2006 and that it was not implemented even after the reinstated Parliament issued directives for the same.
