Madhyapur Youth Association has defeated Bansbari Football Club 1-0 to climb to the fourth spot in the Red Bull B Division Football League held at Dasharath Stadium on Tuesday.
A single goal of Nirajan Raimajhi in the 62nd minute proved to be the match winning score for Madhyapur.
Boudha Football Club and Chyasal Club played a 1-1 draw in another match of the day. Though Boudha had led the match in the 26th minute through a score from Rajib Lama, Chyasal’s Arun Shrestha leveled the score in the 64th minute.
So far, Madhyapur has accumulated 16 points while Bansbari is at the seventh place with 12 points. Similarly, Chyasal is at the ninth spot with 11 points and Boudha is at the 12th position with 10 points.
