The 17th Director General Level Meeting on Nepal-India Customs Cooperation is going to be held in the capital from April 28 to 29, 2014.
The meeting will discuss and review past decisions and agreements, trade facilitation, smuggling in border areas, and infrastructure development, among others.
Others to participate in the meeting to be coordinated by Customs Department Director General Surya Prasad Acharya, are office chiefs of Nepal's major customs offices, and representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Law and Justice, CA and Parliamentary Affairs and Agriculture Development.
DG Acharya informed that discussions will be held on customs cooperation, evaluation system and mobilization of laws. Such meetings are held in Nepal and India each year alternatively.
