The Pepsi Standard Chartered One-Day Cricket Tournament is all set to kick off in different venues in the Kathmandu valley and outside valley from Wednesday.
Organizing a press conference in the capital on Tuesday, Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) informed that nine regional and two departmental teams are participating in the tournament.
The teams are divided into two groups – Group A and Group B. Group A comprises of APF, Region No. 2, Tribhuwan Army, Region No. 6 and Region No. 8. All the matches under Group A will be held in Pokhara.
Similarly, Region No. 4, Region No. 7, Region No. 1, Region No. 5, Region No. 9 and Region No. 3 are in Group B. These teams will play the tournament in Kathmandu Valley at TU Ground and Pulchowk Engineering Ground.
The winner team will win Rs 150,000, while the runner-up will get Rs 100,000. Similarly, the best batsman and bowler will receive Rs. 15,000 each.
