Governor of Yunnan Province of China, Li Jiheng, arrived here in the Capital on Saturday for a two-day formal visit to Nepal, leading a seven-member delegation.
Li arrived in Kathmandu to extend invitation to Prime Minister Sushil Koirala for the Second China-South Asia Exposition.
Ambassador of China to Nepal, Wu Chuntai, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Prakash Kumar Subedi, and Protocol Officer Bijay Bahadur Raut welcomed Governor Li at the Tribhuvan International Airport ( TIA ).
According to MoFA, Governor Li is scheduled to hold separate meetings with Minister for Foreign Affairs Mahendra Bahadur Pandey and Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Bhim Prasad Acharya.
