Kathmandu firefighters get motorcycles

The Hansaraj Hulas Chand and Company Limited has provided ten 'Toofan fire motorcycles' to the office of Juddha Barun Yantra to help control and extinguish fire in the places with narrow streets.

At a programme organised to handover the motorcycles, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Developments, Prakashman Singh, lauded the donation of the Bajaj Group, saying such innovative and generous work would ease the management of disasters in the metropolis.

Minister Singh further said it was necessary to reform the Office of the Juddha Barun Yantra as per the time and the society as per the technological development.
Similarly, Executive Director of the Company, Shekhar Golchha, said that they provided the 'Toofan Motorcycles' realizing the social responsibility.

Golchha handed over the motorcycles worth Rs 3.5 million to KMC Chief Executive Director Aryal.
