The government has stepped up preparation with plan for the improvement of the Tribhuvan International Airport.
The government has put forward the process to modernize the only international airport at a time when there has been growing public complaint over the substandard physical services and facilities in the TIA.
Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Bhim Prasad Acharya said the plan of action has been put forth to make the only international airport well-managed and modernized.
Talking to journalists in course of the on-site visit to the airport on Saturday, Minister Acharya said, "I have floated a plan of action as how the airport could be made well-appointed and facilitated. The process has been put forward considering prompt and standard services to passengers".
