The winner of National League Football tournament will take a whopping ten million rupees, the All Nepal Football Association ( ANFA ) said on Thursday.
A meeting of the football governing body took the decision to increase the prize money from Rs. 7.5 millions to Rs. 10 millions, an increment by Rs. 2.5 million.
Anfa also announced the concept of the National League amid a press conference organised after the meeting.
The league will feature six top-flight teams from the Capital and six teams from districts. Clubs from Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, Kaski, Rupandehi, Banke, Kailali, Parsa and Makwanpur districts will battle for the four places.
