Kantipur Media Group (KMG) has felicitated the National Cricket Team for its magnificent performance in the ICC World T20 2014 that held in Bangladesh.
National Cricket Team accepts a cheque of Rs. 1 million from Managing Director of Kantipur Media Group, Kailash Sirohiya at a programme oraganised in Kathmandu on Thursday. NN/Narayan MaharjanKMG honored the victorious team with a dummy of cheque denominating Rs 1 million along with the letter of appreciation amid a function in the capital on Thursday.
KMG chairman Kailash Sirohiya handed over the cheque and letter of appreciation to the players and other members in the squad.
Speaking at the felicitation program, captain Paras Khadka urged all to support the Nepali Cricket as it has a bright future. “We can do much more in cricket.” said Khadka adding, “Why not we can also win World Cup one day.”
Having said that, Khadka further said “We need right person in right place for the development of cricket.”
On the occasion, Sirohiya praised the team for their victorious performance in the World Cup. Nepal defeated Hong Kong and Afghanistan in the World Cup.
