Nepali Congress leader Govinda Raj Joshi , who was admitted at Norvic International Hospital, will be airlifted to New Delhi for further treatment on Wednesday.
Joshi will be airlifted via air ambulance and will be admitted at Medanta Hospital in New Delhi, hospital sources said.
He was suffering from infection in his pancreas that caused vomiting and low blood pressure.
A team of doctors led by Milesh Jung Sijapati were attending Joshi’s treatment. After no substantive progress on his health condition, doctors at the hospital suggested him to be taken to New Delhi.
Joshi was rushed to the hospital Tuesday morning after he suddenly fell unconscious due to low blood pressure. According to NC spokesperson Dilendra Prasad Badu, Joshi’s blood pressure was too low and problems were seen in his kidney. Badu further added that Joshi’s airlift to India had already been arranged.
