SAARC Sec-Gen meets vice-president

Secretary-General of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Arjun B. Thapa called on Vice-president Parmanand Jha on Monday as part of his introductory calls.

Vice President Jha congratulated Secretary-General Thapa on his appointment and expressed Nepal’s support to make his tenure a success.

Secretary-General Thapa briefed him about the SAARC mechanisms, including the Programming Committee, Standing Committee, Council of Ministers and the Summit.
