TAAN is working with SAMARTH/Nepal Market Development Program (NMDP) on the project under the financial support of UKAID/DFID.
"The project will come into implementation after TAAN and SAMARTH-NMDP will sign MoU officially," TAAN said in a press statement. “Then the project will be on operation for six months.”
The main aim of the project is to explore, develop and promote new and existing trails in the Ganesh Himal-Manaslu region.
The estimated cost of the project Rs 320 million. Under the project, TAAN has also planned to construct suspension bridge, box bridge, tourism information center, view point and tower, new trekking trails and maintenance of existing trails, porter shelter and study of cave in the areas.
