Internet service has been installed at a local primary school in Jajarkot district for the first time.
The District Education Office (DEO) Jajarkot and Khalanga VDC provided financial assistance to operate the service at Ram Janakai Primary School in Khalanga VDC recently, said Deependra Sharma, chairman at the school management committee.
A photocopy machine, printer and three sets of computers were installed at the school. With internet connection at the school, students will be familiar and benefited with latest information communications technology, said headmaster Achyut Prasad Sharma at the school. After installation of internet service, students are found excited and happier.
The school is a model education institution in the district.
